Brady Brammer

Mr. Brammer is Brammer Ranck’s primary litigator, with an impressive record of wins and positive settlements in corporate, commercial, real estate, and government entity litigation in both Utah and California. His experience working in large firms in Southern California and Salt Lake City prepared him to aggressively handle your dispute regardless of who is on the other side—all with the personalized, individual attention that only a smaller law firm can provide.

Through his focused and aggressive approach, Mr. Brammer has successfully resolved many lawsuits prior to trial by securing a dismissal or summary judgment, or negotiating a favorable settlement for his clients.

Mr. Brammer also represents clients on transactional matters and as outside general counsel.

Mr. Brammer also serves as an elected representative in Utah’s House of Representatives. Currently, he serves on the Judiciary Committee, Business and Labor Committee, and is the co-chair of the Infrastructure and General Government Appropriations Subcommittee and the Chair of the Administrative Rules Committee. In this role he is on the cutting edge of the law in Utah.

Brenton Ranck

Mr. Ranck is a partner at Brammer Ranck who leads the firm’s data, privacy, wills & estates, and transactional divisions. He helps data and privacy clients navigate critical legal issues involving data collection, storage, transfer, and use, as well as prospective vendor assessments and potential data incidents. Mr. Ranck provides these services to clients of all sizes—from smaller companies with limited staff, to mid-sized companies that have undergone multiple rounds of funding, to some of the largest tech companies in the world.

Mr. Ranck offers efficient, effective solutions to estate planning needs, regardless of whether it involves more modest holdings, or complex organizations and multi-million-dollar assets. He successfully guides clients through the challenges of planning and handling end-of-life decisions, including probates, wills, revocable trusts, healthcare directives, powers of attorney, irrevocable trusts, and trust decanting.

Through his substantial experience with the state and federal courts, as well as his transactional law experience, Mr. Ranck is well-versed with many corporate and transactional matters, including entity formation, joint ventures, contract creation, shareholder disputes, and other commercial, real estate, and general corporate law issues. This experience enables him to provide personalized, effective strategies to clients’ business objectives and needs.

When he is not practicing law, Mr. Ranck enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing board games, and playing his ukulele.

Attorney

Matt Piccolo

Mr. Piccolo is an associate at Brammer Ranck. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation and in multiple areas of law, with an emphasis in employment law, administrative law, contracts, and business disputes. He has also assisted clients in the areas of constitutional law, education, guardianships, and HOA law.

Through his prior experience in public policy, Mr. Piccolo is well-versed in the relationships between law, legislation, and regulation. He has published numerous reports and articles on issues involving economic development, education, taxes, federalism, poverty, and health care.

Attorney

Adam S. Kunz

Mr. Kunz comes to Brammer Ranck from the litigation division of the Utah Attorney General’s Office, with 18 years of expertise representing clients in litigation and business matters. His practice focuses on employment law, civil rights matters, discrimination lawsuits (involving free speech, religious, and other issues), defamation cases, contract disputes, and business law.

As a litigator, Mr. Kunz is formidable in the courtroom, winning numerous findings, motions, and verdicts from judges and juries alike. Mr. Kunz is also skilled outside the courtroom, regularly achieving positive results for clients in negotiations, mediation, UALD investigations, EOC conciliation, and other proceedings. He knows how to maximize leverage to get results.

Mr. Kunz also provides outside counsel services to businesses. He helps owners and entrepreneurs organize, plan, and prepare their businesses at a reasonable cost, saving them a lot of time, effort, and money in the future. He understands the big picture, and he effectively helps clients achieve their objectives.

When not practicing law, Mr. Kunz enjoys reading, music, theater, movies, riding eBikes, being outdoors, and teaching safety and practical skills with firearms. He also regularly attends the Utah Shakespeare Festival with family.

Paralegal

Erin McAllister

Before joining Brammer Ranck, Ms. McAllister worked for a number of years in the legal field. After graduating with a BS degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, she worked in Salt Lake City for a sole practitioner for a number of years and received her Paralegal Certificate from Westminster College. She then relocated to Dallas, Texas where she worked for the law firm Thompson & Knight in the Creditors’ Rights department as the Assistant to the head of the Department. Since moving back to Utah, she has worked for several lawyers most recently in Kaysville, focusing on estate planning and corporate work.
